Scanning

How do I scan well? Open your fridge wide, tap Scanner and slowly sweep the shelves. Every item found shows up in large type in the list. The scan keeps going until you tap Pause or Terminer; when it sees nothing new, it pauses by itself without losing anything. Then continue with the freezer, pantry or countertop. You can also scan a photo from your library (Galerie).

The scan got something wrong. Tap ✕ next to the item in the list: it is removed and won’t come back during that scan. Afterwards, you can fix or remove any ingredient in the inventory.

I have several fridges. Create them in Profil → Mes frigos (home, office, holiday home…) and switch at the top of the home screen or the Frigo tab: each one keeps its own inventory.

Recipes

What is “Fridge Match”? How much of the recipe you can make with what you have: 100% means everything is there.

Are my allergies respected? Declare them in Profil. Every recipe is checked to avoid them, but AI can make mistakes: always read the labels.

How do ideas work? Three dish ideas arrive within seconds, each with its illustration. Open the one you like and tap Écrire la recette complète: it is ready in 20 to 40 seconds, with its illustrated guide. Only full recipes count toward your subscription.

“Limite du jour” (daily limit). To prevent abuse, each phone has a maximum number of analyses per day. It resets the next day.

Subscription

What is free? One complete scan, one set of illustrated ideas and one full recipe, to discover the app. After that, Menta Plus is required: €7.99 per month or €64.99 per year, with a free week for your first subscription.

How do I cancel? On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Menta. To avoid being charged after the free week, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

New iPhone? Sign in with the same Apple account, then Profil → Menta Plus → Restaurer mes achats.

Refunds? Payments go through Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Where do my scan images go? They are analyzed by Claude (Anthropic) and are not kept by Menta. See the privacy policy.

How do I erase everything? Profil → Tes données → Effacer toutes mes données.
