Menta

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 15, 2026

By using Menta, you accept these terms.

The service

Menta recognizes the food you scan, suggests recipes made with what you have, and guides you while cooking. A free trial of the app is offered; beyond it, using the app requires the Menta Plus subscription.

Free discovery

Each phone can try the app for free: one complete scan (10 scan images), one set of illustrated ideas and one full recipe. This is offered once.

AI-generated recipes

Recipes, quantities, times and illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence. Every recipe is checked automatically before it is shown (declared allergies and diet, cooking, times, temperatures), but AI can make mistakes. You remain responsible for what you cook and eat: check freshness, cook poultry, minced meat, fish and eggs properly, follow food hygiene rules, and if you have an allergy or intolerance, always read the labels instead of relying on the app alone. Menta does not provide medical or nutritional advice.

Your scans

Only scan food you own or are allowed to photograph. Do not use the app to film people or third parties’ personal information.

Fair use

On top of what your subscription includes, each device has a daily limit that protects the service from abuse. The app is for personal use: misuse, automated requests to its servers or bypassing its limits are prohibited.

Content

You may freely cook, photograph and share the recipes and cards created for you. They are generated automatically and their originality is not guaranteed. The app’s name, design and code remain the property of the publisher.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” and may be interrupted, including when AI providers are unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for damage resulting from the use of suggested recipes.

App Store

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard License Agreement also applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the publisher’s place of establishment. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
